Absurdity
05:59
|
|||
Maintain, keep hold, feed the nerve, step backwards and
die Stain the greasy monster, all fibres eaten enjoying
their flight Tape the bastards' faces to the mirror,
leave the lights on Your eminent ethics sucks, so easily
diverted... Move on, spiralling through, vindictive as
hell Appreciated, judged, trodden on, dreaded, dead red
Don't you dare hang up on me, don't you dare hang up on
me like wavy minds willingly absorbing the absurd of
absurdity ad surdity ab surdity... And I can end all
grief, prove you wrong, test you hard, be a burden,
underline them, kiss it better, hang them high,
acknowledge, praise and despise, distinguish, trick you
into it, stop when I want, climb any wall, say more than
you, treasure whoever, land anywhere, stay out of tune,
part with this one, decide on my own, stop my ears, spit
it back, fake it all, drop the plates, refuse to admit,
point at her, see ghosts, run and hide, trim your fist,
lie and cheat, deny my makers, brim over with you,
redecorate, type mistakes, kill the joy, kneel for fun,
switch it all off, fly at will, change into worse, unfold
secrets, eat you alive, become a big deal, kick the nest
then bleach your principles, bleach your absurd
absurdity... Who am I to tell you your life? You're a big
boy now. Who are they to doubt? You don't need advice.

Milder Weather
05:27
|
|||
Shipwrecks and waves Raindrops and grounds Old reels and
flames Lords and servants Make peace, likely to last So
should we stay unsurpassed? Mirrors and age Prisms ans
clouds Towers and planes Mice and serpents Make truce,
likely to pass So should you stay unallied? Magnets and
tapes Dollars and crowns Feathers and rains Virgins and
fauns Make love, likely to fall So should one stay
unanchored?
''I am a parcel of vain strivings tied
By a chance bond together,
Dangling this way and that, their links
Were made so loose and wide,
Methinks,
For milder weather...''
(Henry David Thoreau)

Gang Plank
06:49
|
|||
Head down, lay down your hate Cast down all your grudges and
praises Crowd out, displace, from the gang plank Violators
can be repaid And good doers prosecuted Wake up, steer up
your sakes Sum up, dilapidate hearsays Ride out, crawl out,
from the gang plank All trespassers shall be acclaimed and
all cowards shall bear the blames
''Daughters of Time, the hypocritic Days,
Muffled and dumb like barefoot dervishes,
And marching single in an endless file,
Bring diadems and fagots in their hands.
To each they offer gifts after his will,
Bread, kingdoms, stars, and sky that holds them all.
I, in my pleached garden, watched the pomp,
Forgot my morning wishes, hastily
Took a few herbs and apples, and the Day
Turned and departed silent. I, too late,
Under her solemn fillet saw the scorn.''
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)
''Here lies the body of this world,
Whose soul alas to hell is hurled.
This golden youth long since was past,
Its silver manhood went as fast,
An iron age drew on at last;
'Tis vain its character to tell,
The several fates which it befell,
What year it died, when 'twill arise,
We only know that here it lies.''
(Henry David Thoreau)

If we fall we fall together Blind strongholds destroy one
another When we fall we'll fall together Now breathe while
you can and dream while it lasts Engage whatever your cost I
got caught into a white storm Checked for fraud by invisible
life forms I got caught for disregards and more So live
while you can and laugh while it lasts Advance whatever your
cost How in the world will we get to the core? Nobody feels
anyone any more. How in the world will we keep to the score?
Nobody says anything anymore.

Origamic
05:36
|
|||
It's always the same ones who'll take account Always the
last train that you've just missed Always your opinion
that lacks enough background to be given credit, to be
admitted Always the same song at the same worst moment
Always a detail that triggers the catastrophes you've
been fighting to avoid Always impossible choices to make
Always the same situation to fake Always too much Always
ahead of your time Always judged Always speechless when
boiling inside and storming afterwards with “I should've
said”'s Always very impulsive when to be silent Always
sceptic walls facing convinced exhaustion Always naked in
front of crowds Always different but unwilling to be
noticed Always now, always never, always good, always,
all ways The harm a sign of war next times present
unfolds schemes of actions... Somewhere the harm has left
a sign a kind of warning for next times Reactions to
present unfold origamic schemes of actions Labyrinthic
impediments commonly agreed on give space, pace, ace...

Cunning Tricky Stunts
04:41
|
|||
Reconsider positions. What if reason prevailed? What if
there was a spark to save? I started to my feet obstinate
as hell there to make an offer. Flicked through out-ofthe-
way things Pig-headed as a man can be, Saw time
carved on faces Some immemorial peace shot straight
through the mind. What a very curious child Fond of
pretending to be two people Bewildered at the thought of
having to find the right way back home. What if reason
should fail? What if we could not break the spell? I
would start to my feet and be on my way to
disintegration. Keep going keep going keep going keep
Since the slightest word or silence is a consequence I'll
officially shut up. But the very trying to get rid of a
thought is already another one. You flick through
memories, pick up the worst one and make it fertile
ground for better thoughts. Better thoughts considered as
being just another cunning tricky stunt of your mind. You
know these things. Keep going. What if reason prevailed?
What if we were the sparks to save? Would we start to our
feet? Mere unadulterated figments of fantasies, figments
of ourselves, figments of answers, figments of knowledge,
figments of reason, figments of the mind, figments of
your mind. Keep going. Reconsider possessions. Cunning
tricky stunts every time. Switch places every time.
Reconsider positions. Switch off.

Double-Deckers
05:46
|
|||
Beyond what's us and what has made us us, Beyond purpose,
beyond joint ventures Flee us from here, flee to where
it'll make a little sense Where words won't fail, where
Choices will not be risks or cages Where we'll own up to
who we are and tame hurricanes Almighty ones At odds with
doubts with heads and hearts in pace Now war's over but
war has made us us And we run outwards to grab doubledeckers
Lift us from here, lift to where we'll get a
wider scope Where eyes won't fail, where Choices will not
be friends or foes Where we can own up to what goes
without saying Let alone mighty ones Mere kings and
queens with heads and hearts in space
''But our Icarian thoughts returned to ground
And we went on to heaven the long way round.''
(Henry David Thoreau)

B R OAD WAY Saint Etienne, France
